Consumer Alert:
This is a bulb only without housing. This bulb will require additional installation and careful handling. If you
are not comfortable with reusing your existing housing and replacing the bulb only, it is recommended that
you order a Hitachi lamp assembly with housing by clicking here. A lamp assembly with housing requires
minimal installation and is much simpler than replacing only the bulb.
Many online competitors sell the bulb only and market it as a Hitachi manufacturer original. This is a stretch
of the truth. Hitachi typically uses a Philips bulb inside of their assembly, but does not sell this
bulb alone without housing. Hitachi’s original lamp assembly includes a housing enclosure and minimal installation.
Replacing only the bulb inside of an existing housing is recommended for technical professionals only.
